ESTABLISHMENT OF THE CENTRAL RESEARCH INSTITUTE (ICCS)<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

ICCS, was born in 2009 as a scientific research body within Spiru Haret University (USH) in the context of the increasing emphasis placed at USH on scientific research activity and the objective need of the haretist community to structure and coagulate this activity in a unitary form. ICCS includes the scientific research collectives established at the level of all faculties within USH, with the mission of ensuring a unitary framework and a collaborative platform capable of optimizing scientific research both for the University's teaching staff and for the working groups or partnerships developed by other entities <\/em>in economic <\/em>haretist academic<\/em> space.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Since its establishment, Spiru Haret University assumed the mission of education and economic<\/em> Spiru Haret University's general mission, as an accredited higher education institution, as described in the Charter, is to generate and transfer knowledge to society through:<\/p>

a) initial training and continues at university and postgraduate level, for the purpose of personal development, professional insertion of the beneficiaries of the educational process and satisfying the need for competence of the socio - economic<\/em>environment;<\/p>

  1. b) scientific research, development, innovation and technological transfer through individual and collective creation, in the fields of sciences, arts, letters, through the achievement of performances and physical and sports development, as well as by capitalizing on and disseminating their results. Spiru Haret University aims to achieve a good position among universities in Romania, to enjoy academic recognition at national and international level, as a result of conducting research and innovation activity at European standards.<\/li>
  2. The ICCS mission considers the coordination of the scientific research strategy at the USH level, integrating within it the research component that the various projects<\/li><\/ol>

    in which the University is involved may have.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

    Important for the evolution and development of ICCS's activity are a series of initiatives such as:<\/p>

    -\tAdherence in 2011 to the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers;<\/p>

    -\tReceiving, in 2013, the Human Resources Excellence in Resource Award from the European Commission, Directorate-General for Research and Innovation <\/em>.<\/p>

    -\tInvolving Spiru Haret University staff in over 100 national and international economic<\/em> projects;<\/p>

    -\tPrinting of over 10 scientific publications of Spiru Haret University with indexing in international economic<\/em> (BDI);<\/p>

    -\tCollaboration with over 20 national and international universities and research institutions;<\/p>

    -\tImplementing partnerships for writing projects and organizing scientific events;<\/p>

    -\tJoining COARA in 2024 - Coalition for Advancing Research Assessment;\u00a0<\/p>

    European cooperation in science and technology, COST<\/strong> is the European instrument through which scientific and technical cooperation of researchers in Europe is supported.<\/p>

    The Erasmus + Office carries out the following types of activities regarding the administrative management of the programs at the university:
    1. Promoting, coordinating and implementing all Erasmus+ related programs at the university;
    2. Collaboration with the National Agency for Community Programs in the Field of Education and Vocational Training (ANPCDEFP) responsible for the implementation of community programs in the field of education and vocational training in Romania;
    3. Informing and advising students and teaching and non-teaching staff;
    4. Initiating projects within community programs;
    5. Dissemination of information regarding the calendar of actions, calls for proposals at national and European level, valorization and dissemination of results obtained through the implementation of programs, promotion of good practices;
    6. Establishing and developing relationships with other partner universities within community programs;
    7. Alignment with the quality standards of economic<\/em> (USH) and the European Union regarding the creation of a European Education Area;
    8. Organizing events and support actions for the above activities.<\/p>
